Common sense and boundaries- Be your authentic self.

I cannot for the life of me understand how people can be so blind to the truth being shown to them. I feel so alone in my thoughts and yet I know I'm not the only one thinking this way. It is like the more truth I share, the fewer people believe or even hear me. Let me speak lies though, and everyone is listening. Makes no sense to me. I won't lie to get the world's attention. That's like accepting a handout because you're too good to actually go to work, pointless. You cannot expect the world to be handed to you on a silver platter like you are special. You are no more and no less than anyone else in this world. Reality can be anything we want it to be as long as we are willing to work to get it and believe it is possible to possess. We allow things to stay the same because we do nothing, or not enough, to change what needs to be changed. Is it fair to blame others for your lacking in life? Wasn't it your choices that led you to this point in life? If someone smacks you and you don't hit back, it is because you choose not to hit back. If you say nothing to correct the behavior, then the consequences of not saying anything will allow those things to happen more, until you say "no you can't hurt me", then and only then, will those things change in your life. It's not scientific it is just common sense.

My dad said, "you can't learn common sense. You either have it or you don't. If you don't have it, then it doesn't matter how much knowledge you shove in your brain, you will never have it until you find it for yourself." Common sense is learned by making mistakes. We know fire is hot and burns the skin because someone without Common Sense touched it out of curiosity and got burned. The pain changes the DNA and future Generations had the common sense (or a type of instinct) that called them with feelings and Sensations that fire was hot and dangerous if not controlled safely. We were also told these truths and stories passed down so we wouldn't forget the truths we have learned and accepted as universal knowledge.

So my question is why do so many in today's world lack basic common sense? Why do so many hide behind the lies they feed themselves and others? What is the point of hiding who you are if being you makes you happy? I can not be anyone I am not meant to be. I just don't have it in me.
